Fertility Support Circle

FreeThis is a peer support group sponsored by Conceive Nebraska and hosted by a professional therapist from Omaha Integrative Care. The goal of this group is to provide a safe, supportive space for discussion and exploration of fertility and infertility, as well as the opportunity for couples and individuals to connect with others over this shared experience.
The group meets via Zoom 7:00-8:00 the first Tuesday of the month. Conceive Nebraska is financially sponsoring this group for the first 10 couples/individuals who sign up.

Some topics that may be discussed are:
*Isolation (struggling with infertility in silence, celebrating in silence difficulty communicating with family/friends who don’t fully understand/appreciate the experience)
*Relationship distress (grieving losses at different paces, female partners needing empathy/validation and male partners offering reassurance/problem-solving, impact on quality time/intimacy)
Stress reduction (feeling stressed about stress) and self-care strategies (yoga, meditation, enjoyable activities/hobbies, quality time)

*Financial burden
*Difficult emotions in response to fertility experiences of others (ease of pregnancy/birth, etc.)
